1 / Mechanical Engineer
The Mechanical Engineer position plans and designs mechanical assemblies for automation and robotics projects. This position is responsible for organizing highly complex activities for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of engineering projects in accordance with BOS and applicable governing standards.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conceptualizes and designs highly complex automation machinery, robotic cells and material handling systems, including development and checking of technical specifications, drawings and bills of material.

Creates 3D part/assembly models and details drawings for manufacture per design best practices using Solidworks.

Manages the scope of work for mechanical design on customized projects, including planning, supervising project work, and verifying designs to ensure effective performance of the work.

Supports fabrication, testing and installation activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications.

Provides guidance and direction in technical risk evaluation, functional composition, and interface management as part of the design team.

Provides technical expertise in automation and equipment engineering practices.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

2 / Automation Assembly Team Leader
The Automation Assembly Team Leader position organizes and directs the building of custom mechanical systems for industrial robotic automation projects. This position is responsible for organizing and performing highly complex production activities of multiple engineering projects and stakeholders in accordance with BOS and applicable governing standards.
The Automation Assembly Team Leader is responsible for working from Solid Works/e-drawing, 2D mechanical, and electrical prints to assemble fabricated parts, purchased components, and wiring into custom builds for our customers. The project process will frequently require the team leader to assist in organization of the materials and moderate fabrication duties. This job requires the applicant to work closely with the mechanical and electrical engineering teams on the assembly process. In addition, this role works closely with others to execute testing procedures on the assembled automation systems. This position will be expected to help the production team with the scheduling and prioritization of tasks. They will also be expected to take the lead on troubleshooting design issues and delivering production-based resolutions on assigned tasks.

Builds and installs electrical panels, junction boxes, and sensor/control devices, ensuring proper grounding, labeling, and cable management.
